Benefits of using SafeSend Returns:

Receive Your Tax Returns Securely and easily. SafeSend Returns will allow us to deliver your return securely and will walk you through the steps of processing your return from your computer, tablet or smartphone.

For Business Returns. SafeSend Returns allows you to electronically access your federal and state tax returns, receive payment reminder emails, and gives you the ability to download a copy of your tax return and distribute K-1's electronically. For Individuals. SafeSend Returns allows you to electronically sign your federal and state tax returns, receive tax payment reminder emails, and give the abilitity to download a copy of your tax return. See below for a video that explains how individuals can review their tax documents.

How does the SafeSend Returns Process work?

  1. Receive an email from Nietzke & Faupel, P.C. with a "from" address of noreply@safesendreturns.com

  2. The email will contain a safe link for you to access your tax return. 

  3. Once you click the link, a browser will load and ask you to enter the last for digits of your Social Security number to review your return.

  4. SafeSend will email you an access code to further verify your identity. Make sure to click "Request Access Code" to have that code sent to you.

  5. SafeSend will walk you through your return.

  6. Electronically sign & return (individuals) or print, sign, and upload (Business and Trusts) your e-File Authorization Form (form 8879).

  7. Once you have signed the e-file authorized form(s), Nietzke & Faupel will be notified and will complete the rest of the e-filing process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Email notifications regarding your return will be sent from noreply@safesendreturns.com or noreply@safesend.com. The initial email will contain a link you can use to access and sign your return.

Yes. SafeSend Returns offers a secure system to view and sign your e-file authorization form(s).

Look for https:// at the beginning of the site URL and a locked padlock symbol in your browser’s URL bar to confirm you are on the secure site.

If you do not receive and enter the code within the 20-minute time limit please try requesting another. They can take 1-5 minutes to arrive.

You may also want to check in your Junk/Spams folders as sometimes it can be filtered. We would also suggest searching for "noreply@safesendreturns.com" in case it may be hidden in another location.

If you are having your items sent to a work or business email you may also want to check with your I.T. department to see if you have any emails being quarantined.

The questions SafeSend Returns asks are knowledge-based questions pulled from government and credit sources. You may be asked questions such as where you lived in a given year, or when you bought your car or home. In the event the questions do not apply to you, simply choose the answer that accurately reflects this. If you don’t remember the answers to the questions, or you answer incorrectly, you won't be able to electronically sign your e-file authorization form(s). You can instead print, sign and return your e-file authorization form(s) to Nietzke & Faupel, P.C.

Yes. You can download and print your return from a computer. If you’re using a smartphone or tablet, you'll can review and e-sign your return package but may not be able to print it. Please use a laptop or desktop computer for the best printing experience.

Yes! Once you sign your e-file authorization form(s), you will receive an email stating it was successful. The email will also include a link to download a copy of your tax return for your records.
